Article Climate Change and Our Eating Behavior -    Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh Writer, Author & Social Activist Blogger - "Climate Diary Of Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh" Sometimes such things also have such a deep impact on each other that we cannot even think about them. When someone says that our food habits have a profound effect on the climate, we find it strange to hear it. Humans have been associated with food since the dawn of their existence. Food keeps him alive. But the same food is now having a negative impact on the climate in the form of a carbon footprint. Let us see how our food habits affect the climate and how we can bring changes in our food habits. What connection could there be between climate change and our eating habits? It sounds weird too. But the truth is that our eating behavior also has a positive or negative impact on climate change. What we eat, and how that food is produced, affects our health but also the climate. Now it n...

While India is a country that fully represents third world countries, so ignoring India's proposal puts a question mark on the far reaching results of this conference. Few big and developed countries cannot decide the fate of developing countries on their own. This conference has left behind many such questions which need to be answered. Like how can the right results be achieved without involving third world public opinion? There has to be a plan that such efforts should not become mere political drama. A 'non-paper' was released on the morning of November 17, 2022, during COP-27. In this, information received from different countries has been compiled, so that all the issues raised in this conference can be ...

Article Earthquakes : Because Mother Earth Is Angry With Us -    Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh Writer, Author & Social Activist Blogger - "Climate Diary Of Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh" Mother gives good clothes, good food and good toys to the children. Good children handle these things and use them, while careless children destroy these things. This is what is happening with us that our mother earth gave us a good environment in the form of natural elements. But like careless children, we have caused so much damage to the environment that even the ozone layer has a hole in it. At the same time, the balance of tectonic plates began to deteriorate under the ground. The result is in front of us in the form of an increasing number of earthquakes and increasing intensity. At least now we should understand that our Mother Earth is angry with us. If their anger increases, then there will be no earth under our feet. Earthquake came in Nepal while the ground was t...

Article COP Summits and their efforts and effects -    Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh Writer, Author & Social Activist Blogger - "Climate Diary Of Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh" Have we ever thought about why the results and goals of climate change conferences do not reach the common man, whereas the public is most closely related to the bad effects of climate change? In slowing down the pace of climate change and keeping human life safe on earth, awareness of the common man matters the most. Barring a few NGOs and those interested in the climate change campaign, most people do not even know that the COP 27 conference took place on 07-18 November 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh. Should we believe that we are working at a fast pace by bringing awareness to only 40 people out of a population of four billion? We have to think seriously about this. Recently, I was discussing climate change with an acquaintance of mine. They are professor in the university i.e. they are ...

Article May our earth be free from the darkness of pollution  -    Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh Writer, Author & Social Activist Blogger - "Climate Diary Of Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh"    143 years ago Edison invented the bulb so that man could get enough light even at night as per his wish. Light protects us from the imaginary fear of the dark. Light removes our inner depression and communicates enthusiasm. That's why we like the festival of Diwali the best because in this festival we light a lot of lights with terracotta diyas, electric decorations and this light fills our mind with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. But, unfortunately, even after so much light, there is a twilight shadow in the cities due to pollution.   On hearing the name of Diwali, only one thing first comes to mind, and that is light… plenty of light. Everything looks clean and beautiful in the light. That is why we always pray for the light, strive for the light and always wan...

Article Let Us Be Environment Friendly In This Diwali By Use Solar Energy -    Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh Writer, Author & Social Activist Blogger - "Climate Diary Of Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh" Do you know how much coal is used to generate electricity? At present, 70 percent of the electricity in the country is produced from coal. All the power stations in the country consume about 920 million tonnes of coal a year. 500 to 850 grams of coal is burnt to produce 1 unit of electricity. 1 MW means 24000 units of electricity i.e. 18 to 20 tonnes of coal is consumed to produce one MW of electricity. Whereas every Diwali we burn about 100 to 350 MW of additional electricity. This thing is neither eco friendly, nor climate friendly nor household budget friendly. So why not do something this time in which we do not have to pay huge electricity bills and we can also save from the damage caused to the climate by the exorbitant expenditure of electricity. Yes, we can us...
