18.02.2022 ... यजुर्वेद में पृथ्वी को ‘तप्तायनी’ अर्थात उर्वरकता देने वाली तथा धन-सम्पदा देने वाली ‘वित्तायनी’ कह कर प्रार्थना की गई है कि वह हमें साधनहीनता, दीनता की व्यथा व पीड़ा से बचाए ।
‘तप्तायनी मेसि वित्तायनी मेस्यवतान्मा नाथितादवतान्मा व्यथितात्।’- (यजुर्वेद 5/9)

 18.02.2022 ... In the Yajurveda, the earth has been called 'Taptayani', that is, the giver of fertility and the giver of wealth, it has been prayed that she should save us from the pain and suffering of impoverishment, humility.
 'Taptayani Mess Vittayani Mesyavatanma Nathitadvatanma Vythitat.'

वृक्षों को कटने से बचाने वाला एक था ‘चिपको आंदोलन’ - डाॅ (सुश्री) शरद  सिंह                                                                                               हर साल तपन बढ़ती जा रही है। गरमी का मौसम आते ही अहसास होता है कि हमने उन पेड़ों को कट जाने दिया जो हमें ठंडक दे सकते थे और जो वातावरण के तापमान को बढ़ने से रोक सकते थे। हमारी आंखों के सामने दशकों पुराने पेड़ काटे जा रहे हैं और हम विकास का अंधाराग गाते हुए पर्यावरर्णीय अंधकार की ओर बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। पेड़ों के कटने से होने वाले नुकसान को भांप कर ही एक आंदोलन चलाया गया था, जिसका नाम था- चिपको आंदोलन। इस आंदोलन में अनेक महिलाओं ने सैकड़ों पेड़ों को कटने से बचाने का महत्वपूर्ण कार्य किया था और इस आंदोलन के नेतृत्वकर्ता थे सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा। आज फिर ऐसे किसी आंदोलन की जर...
