बहुत कुछ सिखाती है ‘खांडव वन दहन’ की घटना     - डाॅ (सुश्री) शरद सिंह                                                                                               हम प्रकृति को नुकसान पहुंचाते हैं। प्रकृति उदार है, वह हमें दंड नहीं देती। वह हमारे अपराधों को भूल भी जाती है, लेकिन हमारे ही अपराध हमें भविष्य में दंड देते हैं। इसका सबसे अच्छा उदाहरण महाकाव्य “महाभारत” में खांडव वन की प्रलयंकारी अग्नि की कथा के रूप में मौजूद है। खांडव वन को जलाने में दो मनुष्यों ने अग्नि की मदद की, लेकिन उनमें से एक को एक वन वृक्ष ने सुरक्षा प्रदान की। प्रकृति और मनुष्य में यही अंतर है। आज जब दुनिया के बड़े-बड़े जंगल हर साल जलकर राख हो रहे हैं, तो हमें इस कथा से सबक लेना चाहिए और जंगलों को जलने के लिए छोड़ने के बजाय उनके रक्षक बनना चाहिए। तो आइए एक बार ...
