Who can win the Winner Cup? They, who run the race with their willpower. Today, we are stand in the racecourse of climate change and our willpower is necessary for us. Unfortunately this race not for a winner medal or a cup, this is for our future of earth and life. So, we have no choice to defeat. Why are we still failing to use our willpower against climate change? It is necessary to think.

It is a true incident that the low-lying settlements of a town were flooded every year during the rainy season. There used to be a flood like situation. Every year administration officials would reach to see their problem, leaders of the area would reach there and media persons would reach there to write stories on their problems. The problem was prevented in a timely manner. Then as soon as the weather changes, the rain stops in the same way no one remembers their problem. Even they themselves would have forgotten this problem of theirs and got engaged in the work of hard-wage labor. Once some people in those settlements were reminded of the problem of floods before the rains started. He reminded the administration about the problem of floods. The media also featured his news prominently. But within a week or two, they saw their efforts going in vain and gave up. He could not hold on to his will. As a result, when the rains came again, their settlements were again submerged in water.

There is another true incident when the government and the regional administration had to suppress their will. It happened that in one area, a multinational company established its unit and started a chemical fertilizer factory. Before setting up the factory, the company had promised that they would keep their unit pollution free. Along with this, schools will be opened, hospitals will be opened and millions of rupees will be given for the development of the area. The deal was good. The agreement was reached. The car has been established. The production of chemical fertilizers also started. After some time the first promise that the company broke was that of pollution-free production. Air pollution and water pollution started spreading in the area. People started getting different diseases. When a notice was sent to the company by the administration, the company replied that the pollution is less than the standard level, so there is nothing to worry about. The administration sent the reports to the company that the pollution board had given it. On this, instead of sending a written reply, the company sent a clever representative to the regional administration. That representative explained to the administration that they would have to shut down their unit if objections were raised on the pollution caused by the factory. Due to which the company will suffer loss. The company will then be entitled to demand the money it has given for the development of the area. They will also have to close their schools and hospitals. Now the situation was serious. If the administration put pressure on the company, then it would start demanding back the money given for development works and would also stop further assistance. After much deliberation, the administration selected the money to be received for development works. Therefore, there was development in the area but due to pollution there were serious effects on the health of the residents there. If the administration had chosen the health of the people of its area, then other avenues of development would have been found. But second good health was hard to find.

Every youth wants to have a good future. A future in which he can fulfill his dreams while leading a healthy life. Youth can get this happy future only when they get a healthy climate. Migration from villages to cities in search of good work has been going on for centuries. To stop this migration, the work of making villages into cities is also done. Big cities mean big factories, big factories and big pollution. On one hand healthy youth moving from our small towns and villages to big cities lose their health in the pollution of big city, while urbanization of villages is bringing pollution towards villages. The incidence of asthma has increased rapidly over the past two decades. Water borne diseases have also increased in the absence of proper management of drinking water. And talking about dirt is pointless. So it is a matter of thinking that how a sick youth will be able to fulfill his big dreams in future? Young people breathing with the help of vaccines and masks, far from dreams of success, cannot even fulfill the dreams of a healthy life. An ill human have never can make a healthy future. The biggest culprit for this is our weak will towards climate change.

Earth's temperature is rising, the seasons have been uncertain, glaciers have accelerated. Incidents of floods, hot winds, forest fires etc. have increased. That is, climate change is taking place vigorously, while our will to slow down this change has been sluggish. There is also a small example that many of us are not able to stand to the point that even the smallest garbage should be thrown in the dustbin or polythene bags should not be used. That is to say, when we are not able to live on our smallest willpower, then how can we fulfill the big desire to stop climate change? Therefore, if we want to stop the climate change, then first of all we have to strengthen our willpower. Only then we will be able to give a healthy and successful future to our youth.
