*Solving the energy crisis is one of the most urgent undertakings of the 21st century. There is a need to adopt a solution that does not harm the environment and climate, keep them clean and hygienic. This solution should be in the form of energy sources that never run out and are available continuously. If we start using sustainable energy sources in our factories, all resources of development and also in our daily life, then our future can be secured in every way against energy crisis. Also we can get green and clean climate. That's why it is important to know about sustainable energy sources.*

There is no meaning of development without energy. The whole structure of development all over the world rests on energy. That is why now it is becoming a matter of concern whether the traditional sources of energy will be able to provide energy for a long time? The faster the all-round development has taken place, the faster the consumption of energy has also increased. That is why now the quantity of conventional energy ie fossil energy is decreasing. Before it gets completely exhausted and as a result the wheel of development stops, we have to adopt alternative sources of energy. The issue of sustainable energy dominated the investors' meet held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The Government of India also recognizes that a transition to a more inclusive, sustainable, affordable and secure global energy system is essential. In the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, India's Union Minister of Power and New and Renewable Energy was emphasized the need for global energy. Along with this, he was spoke on the change in the energy journey in India, including decarburization (drastically reducing the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases), green storage, hydrogen mission, energy security, supply chain and investment possibilities and among other things talked about the plan.
What is the difference between conventional energy, renewable energy and sustainable energy? A common assumption is that “renewable” and “sustainable” are synonyms. They both aim to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) and mitigate climate change, but the differences in their definitions and different implications on our environment. So, Regular or Conventional energy is generated from fossil fuels, including coal, oil, and natural gas. Renewable or Green energy is generated from sources like the sun, wind, and water. Renewable energy and sustainable energy are often used interchangeably, even among industry experts and veterans. There is some overlap between the two, as many sustainable energy sources are also renewable. However, these two terms are not exactly the same. Renewable energy comes from sources that naturally renew themselves at a rate that allows us to meet our energy needs Includes biomass, geothermal, hydropower, solar and wind. Not all renewable energy is also sustainable, but improving the sustainability of renewable and fossil fuels can have environmental benefits.
Renewable energy is defined by the time it takes to replenish the primary energy resource, compared to the rate at which energy is used. This is why traditional resources like coal and oil, which take millions of years to form, are not considered renewable. On the other hand, solar power can always be replenished, even though conditions are not always optimal for maximizing production. Examples of renewable energy sources are-
Biomass: Organic material that is burned or converted to liquid or gaseous form. Modern examples of biomass include ethanol and biodiesel, which are collectively referred to as bio-fuels.
Geothermal: Heat produced by decaying radioactive particles found deep within the earth. Geothermal energy can be used as a direct heat source or to generate electricity.
Hydropower: One of the oldest sources of electricity, requiring not only massive amounts of water but also a formidable amount of force. Hydropower was the largest source of renewable electricity until 2019.
Solar: A favored green alternative, although production requires a large surface area and consistent sunlight. Solar farms should be combined with storage solutions in order to harness the sun’s potential. Like geothermal energy, solar power is often used as a direct heat source and electricity generator.
Wind: Utilizes turbines to convert the wind’s kinetic energy into mechanical energy.  Alternatively, the mechanical energy can be rotated at high speeds to produce electricity.
Sustainable energy is derived from resources that can maintain current operations without jeopardizing the energy needs or climate of future generations. The most popular sources of sustainable energy, including wind, solar and hydropower's, these are also renewable.
If energy is only renewable but not sustainable means it takes thousands, millions of years to regenerate, then it will not be called sustainable energy source. Renewable and sustainable energy sources are alternatives to fossil fuels and aid in the fight against global climate change because they help curtail GHGs. Knowing the difference between renewable energy and sustainable energy makes it easier for us to choose a better source of energy for our present and future.
In the summary, renewable energy sources are flow-limited because there is a limited amount of energy available per unit of time. While, sustainable energy sources meet the needs of our current generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. They aim to preserving the natural integrity of the environment. So we should go for sustainable energy in daily life too for Green Climate and Clean Climate.
